“If you didn’t know already, Liverpool famously has two cathedrals. Apparently, when the city wanted a cathedral built, two men put their designs forward. These two men then just started building their designs anyway without waiting for a decision on which one the city wanted! The Anglican has what’s known as “whisper columns”. You stand next to one column and whisper into it, and somebody standing next to another column can hear you! You can actually buy a ticket to go right up to the very top of this cathedral for one of the best views of the city.”
“Home of Liverpool FC. Our house is a 15 minute drive by car to Anfield Stadium, however on match days allow an hour due to increased traffic near the stadium. Alternatively, the journey takes 45 minutes to 1 hour by public transport.”
“The showpiece of Liverpool's famous docklands, with listed buildings everywhere! With various shops, cafe's, bars & restaurants; as well as The Tate Gallery & Maritime Museum, there's lots to see and do. ”
