“Nguyen Hue walking street is an ideal destination not only for Saigon people but also for tourists near and far. Nguyen Hue walking street put officially into operation on 29 April 2015. As schedule, on week days, vehicles are still allowed to run along Nguyen Hue street, but from 6pm to 1am on Saturday and Sunday, all kinds of vehicles are banned to travel here. Nguyen Hue walking street is chosen as a place for big events of Ho Chi Minh city as parade, meetings, street festivals, Nguyen Hue flower path. Moreover, this path also takes place activities of culture exhibitions, sport, art performances, etc.”

Government Building
“The People’s Committee Building Saigon in central Ho Chi Minh City features well-preserved French colonial architecture in a spacious garden landscape. Originally constructed as a hotel in 1898 by French architect Gardes, it now serves as a city hall and one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Occupying the end of Nguyen Hue walking promenade, it has three buildings with embossed statues of animals and people, intricate bas-reliefs on the walls, as well as a statue of Ho Chi Minh in front of the main building. The best time to visit is in the evening, as these features are beautifully illuminated with LED lights.”

“Located next door. It's a bit of a walk up the 6 flights of stairs, take your time walking and it's worth it. Authentic Vietnamese cuisine with traditional décor. A balcony gives a great view while you are dining. The price is reasonable too.”

Zoo
“The Botanical Gardens has a vast array of flora and fauna including 20 different orchid types, 32 species of cactus and 34 species of bonsai in addition to trees, plants and ferns some of which are as old as the gardens. The zoo exhibits a diverse range of animals including monkeys, tigers, hippos, lions, elephants; turtles and snakes. There are also rarer animals such as the white tiger that are being displayed for the first time ever in Vietnam. The zoo aims to help animal conservation of endangered species through a breeding-in-captivity program and recently bred the crested argus pheasant – being the only zoo in the world to do so. The Botanical Gardens are striving to use the area as a knowledge centre where visitors can learn more about the species on display and how to protect them for the future. In addition to creatures and plants, the zoo and botanical gardens also have the Saigon National Museum and the World War I monument within its vicinity. The museum covers the entire history of Vietnam and includes war weapons from the French colonial era and thousands of important documents within its walls. The zoo is located close to Saigon District 1 and the easiest way to reach it is via taxi. The entrance fee allows you to visit both the zoo and gardens, although you will need to pay more if you wish the feed any animals. There are two main gates, one on Nguyen Binh Khiem and the other on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street.”

쇼핑몰
“Air conditioning, luxury shopping, and great food - in the center of Ho Chi Minh City (Sai Gon) I will be surprised if there aren't already many reviews of this shopping center in the center of Sai Gon, Viet Nam. There are two Vincom Center Towers, A and B. I'm reviewing the B tower, which has much more shopping. The goods are mostly luxury and high-priced. Yet you can wander through the multiple levels and window shop in air conditioned comfort, something you will want if you've been walking around the city in the heat. On the lowest level is a "food court" with numerous sit-down restaurants. There is huge variety, from bakeries that will make your mouth water to chocolates.”

“Enjoy an extensive collection of Vietnamese art. The building itself has very interesting back story. It also hosts one of Vietnamese national treasure - "Spring garden of the central, south and North" by painter Nguyen Gia Tri which was damaged 30% by irresponsible restoration in early 2019. Come by to see what's left of the masterpiece and weep for it with me.”

“It looks like District 3 is the hot area where all these great restaurants are located. Hum Vegetarian is located in District 3, on Vo Van Tan street, just a two-minute-walk from the War Museum. This, I would say, is the paradise of vegetarian. As a vegetarian, you might worry that you can’t experience all the tastiest dishes that Vietnam has to offer. Here is my response, no need to worry. This restaurant might even make you into a full-time vegetarian, so it’s an excellent choice for everyone. Capturing the spirit of a pagoda, you will be greeted by a zen and cozy space. Take a break from the Saigon heat and sense-overload, and calm down and enjoy the peace here.”

“Great place for tourists to try many dishes of Vietnamese food. You can take a tour around the restaurant to see how people prepare your food. It is about 2.5 km away and takes probably 10' by take from your place. ”
