공원
“A nostalgic favourite for most Halifax locals- a walk in Point Pleasant Park is a staple weekend activity for many. Point Pleasant Park has several kms of groomed walking trails (wooded and waterfront) close to the heart of downtown. The park is very popular with dog walkers and several areas allow off leash dog walking. If you're a history buff, you'll enjoy the several artillery batteries and the Prince of Wales Tower, the oldest Martello tower in North America. ”

Farmers Market
“New building, old established Farmer’s Market on the waterfront. Just keep walking past the Halifax Waterfront. Lots of vendors selling their wares, as well as ready to eat treats and meals. Great on Saturday & Sunday. Less lively other days but still interesting.”

“A lot of beautiful flowers and trees. You can get ice-creams there too. It's huge but enough to walk around and some events open sometimes too. My kids love running around there. A beautiful water fountain and a lot of ducks and other birds you will see near the ponds. ”

“Our favourite brunch place in the city! The space is tight but the food is excellent - try the McCoastal breakfast sandwich. Right out the front door, walk 2 blocks then left on Robie St, walk 2 blocks and you'll see the restaurant on your right.”
