“Le Musée de la Romanité, pour tout connaître sur le passé antique de Nîmes. “5min à pied de mon AirBnB. J'y vais de temps en temps avec des amis étrangers surtout pour le bâtiment et ses décorations intérieures, j'adore le lieu. Mais il y a aussi de belles expositions et une collection intéressante sur les textiles de la région et sa fameuse toile Denim, car souvent on oublie que la toile de jean vient de Nîmes ! Un petit square public se trouve derrière le musée, très peu fréquenté, peu connu même des nîmois, c'est romantique et parfais pour une pause ou un pique-nique.”

“Situé à 15 minutes en voiture de Saint-Gilles, c'est un petit coin au calme ou il est fait bon d'aller se balader. Entrée gratuite, seul inconvénient, il faut respecter les horaires d'ouvertures : en effet afin de préserver la tranquillité des animaux, le centre n'est ouvert qu'en journée. ”

“The spectacular Pont du Gard is an ancient Roman aqueduct bridge built in the first century AD to carry water to the Roman colony of Nemausus. It crosses the Gardon River near the town of Vers-Pont-du-Gard. The Pont du Gard is the highest of all Roman aqueduct bridges, and one of the best preserved. Definitely worth a visit. ”
