기념물/랜드마크
“I recommend seeing this place at night. All the monuments are beautifully lit up, relatively walkable between each other, and it is so much less crowded and cool at night than during the day. Either side of the statue has his Inauguration Speech and his Gettysburg Address which are emotional and somehow never becomes irrelevant to current events. Across the reflecting pool from the Washington Monument and the US Capitol building, it's a stop along the National Mall that you have to see. ”

“A lovely and historic city, brick sidewalks, many fine eating establishments, free trolly up and down King Street, dog-friendly, walkable. Lots of great restaurants and cute shops. Things close a little early though so plan accordingly.”

History Museum
“These are America’s museums, so there is no charge to visit them! All Smithsonian museums have interactive components and unparalleled collections of artifacts. The hard part is choosing which ones to visit. Visitors often flock to the National Air and Space Museum for its journeys into space and the National Museum of American History for its in-depth look at our nation’s past. Also, be sure to check out the recently renovated Freer | Sackler Galleries, which are dedicated to Asian art.”

공동묘지
“This place is beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. It is the burial place of John F. Kennedy, home of the mesmerizing patrol at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the historic home of Robert E. Lee that was seized by The Union as their burial place for soldiers during the Civil War after Robert E. Lee fled it. The placement of soldier's graves ensured he could not return and use the land as he once did and thus began the Arlington National Cemetery. ”
