“Entry £8-£13.50 The building that began Brighton’s popularity this is the King’s Pleasure Palace by the sea which was sold off in 1851 by Queen Victoria as she hated it. It’s Indian in style on the outside and Chinese on the inside, an eccentric building stuffed full with treasures – well worth a visit. You can now buy a combined history pass (April-Sep) that will get you into Brighton Museum, The Royal Pavilion and Preston Manor - Adults £16.50 buy at one of the sites. It lasts three consecutive days.”

“In my opinion the best pub in Brighton. The food is a little bit more expensive than average price but it's delicious (very creative and with lots of vegetarian options) and the building itself it's very beautiful. Definetly reccommended especially in the summer for the terrace. ”

“A dapper looking lounge bar in The Lanes that boasts some of the most raucous shindigs in town, The Mesmerist is a bar in Brighton inspired by all things unconventional. Sourcing vintage decor and wares in abundance, it's doused in indulgent prohibition tones, bottled trinkets and antiquarian flair offering an extensive cocktail and wine menu. Enjoy live music and entertainment!”

“Voted Brighton's 'Most Brighton Venue' 2 years running, the Marwood has built up a solid reputation as the most eclectic & quirky bar around. During the day they serve fresh in-house baked goods & exceptionally sourced coffee, by night they open up the bar with deliciously concocted cocktails on offer. ”

“Lots of live bands play here. Because you are in Brighton, they will either be on the way up, or on the way down. Or maybe a cover band. There are also frequent club nights held here. I wouldn’t walk back into town late at night, it’s best to call a cab. The rats (both human and rodent) running around by the beach are nasty. ”
