“There are three and a half miles of trails in Whatcom Falls Park. Many routes wind through the forests here, some overlooking the creek gorge and still pools. Some wind through open meadows, while others stay in deep forest. A WPA-built stone bridge greets visitors, just 100 yards from the parking area. It's a beautiful, mossy wonder that makes a great destination in and of itself, though further wandering in the park is a fantastic day outing. Connect to Bloedel Donovan Park, the Railroad Trail, or do a one-mile loop in the park by beginning in the Silver Beach Road parking area, near the stone bridge at the main falls.”
“Housed in a huge, iconic Fairhaven building, this place is any community's dream of a book store. Don't miss meandering through its offerings. And it's yet another local business passionate in supporting this great community. ”
“Lake Padden is a lake located in Bellingham named for a homesteader in the area, Michael Padden. The park is popular during the spring and summer, and features numerous picnic areas as well as playgrounds.”
“Be prepaired to be wow'd and laugh. this place is colorful, outspoken with large portions! country fried steak and eggs, huavos rancheros, or veggie scramble you cant go wrong!”
“Get immersed in history and culture at Bellingham’s old own hall now converted in to the Whatcom Museum. Keep on what new exhibits are coming and or are here on the Whatcom Museum’s website.”
“Get the #9, half order with half home fries and half black beans (isn't that 9 and a quarter?)...you won't regret it. Really reasonably priced place for breakfast with lots of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options (don't worry, its good for carnivores too but friendly to the veggies as well).”
