“Come and enjoy one of the world’s best little islands! Just a short stroll from our apartments is the ferry that will take you across to Waiheke Island which was recently voted one of the world’s best islands. Spend a morning strolling along some of Waiheke's beautiful beaches before spending the afternoon visiting world-class vineyards, sampling wine as you enjoy views of the Gulf and Auckland city. The ferry terminal is walking distance from this apartment and it is a scenic 35-minute trip to the island. Go to https://www.fullers.co.nz/ for a ferry timetable.”

“The beach is lovely to walk along and is safe for swimming. There is the lovely view of Rangitoto Island, and lots of trees along the beach front for shade and picnics. The area has lots of restaurants and the best Ice cream is at Movenpick. Try the fish and chips at Sea Cow - it's fantastic.”

“Great collection of bars and restaurants as well as waterfront sightseeing. The Wynyard Quarter play-space includes a fountain for the kids to play in, a basketball court and a fun playground. This area is accessible on foot if you walk along the water-front, past the viaduct and over the foot bridge. Show the kids the Super-yachts along the way ”

“Explore Auckland's waterfront. Start by exploring Wynyard Quarter, including Silo Park. We recommend a coffee at William's Eatery or if you're hungry, a bite at Baduzzi. Walk through the Viaduct to Britomart, Auckland's lively downtown precinct. We recommend lunch, dinner or a drink at Amano. If you're in the mood, pop into Xuxu for dumplings and cocktails, or The Caretaker, for tailor-made cocktails in a speakeasy setting.”
