“A big market to visit. In a very nice area of Amsterdam: called 'De Pijp'. I visit it many times for many reasons. And not only the market is a must to visit, but also the small streets and squares around this market are inspiring for food and drinks and shopping.”

“an excellent organic farmers market held on Saturdays at the Nordermarkt from 09h - 16h. The wild mushroom stall is wonderful and Le Perron sells great bread. The place to go for picnic supplies before you hire a boat and picnic on the canals”

“The Kalverstraat is a busy shopping street of Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. The street runs roughly North-South for about 750 meters, from Dam Square to Muntplein square. The Amsterdam Museum is located in a former orphanage between Kalverstraat and Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. The Kalverstraat is the most expensive shopping street in the Netherlands, with rents of up to 3000 euros per square meter (2016).[1] In 2009 it was the 17th most expensive street in the world measured by rent prices.[2] The Kalverstraat is also the most expensive street in the Dutch version of Monopoly.”

Whether you're searching for high style, camp shoes, Dutch cheese or soft drugs, you're likely to find what you're looking for in the boutiques, high-end department stores, specialty shops and coffeeshops on this busy passenger byway and the small streets shooting off from it.”

“One of the nicest streets in Amsterdam East is the Javastraat Amsterdam. Full with shops and products from all around the world together with super trendy hotspots. At the grocery store you buy the best vegetables, bread, herbs and spices. Next thing you plump down at a nice coffee bar, lunchroom, or restaurant. ”
