I like reading and writing, and McDonald cottage and its surrounds are the perfect place for the peace and quiet needed for reflection.
I love to watch the many different birds which are attracted to the grove of grevilleas near the cottage. Kangaroos love to feed on the surrounding lawn.
If I feel like a good wine, Audrey Wilkinson's is just up the hill!
While I live not too far away, I like to let guests enjoy for themselves the secluded and peaceful nature of the property; I leave the key in the door of the cottage, so they can go straight in when it suits them.
