Located right in "downtown" Sonoita, the Adobe House is a perfect basecamp for wine tasting, hiking, birding, and exploring Parker Canyon Lake and other local destinations.
The Adobe House is historic and one of the oldest buildings in Sonoita. It was built around the 1900s, and we’ve heard it was a mercantile, a rail road stop, a post office, and more throughout its long life. The railroad tracks once ran right across the street. Imagine the Adobe House 100 years ago, with the Southern Pacific rumbling by and nothing but cattle and high desert grasslands as far as the eye can see! In honor of Sonoita’s rich history, we have decorated the Adobe House with posters from old Westerns filmed in and around Sonoita.
This one bedroom house with an open floor plan can very comfortably host two.
PLEASE NOTE- while we are happy to host you and your well-behaved dog, the Adobe House only has a walled porch- not a fenced yard. Additionally, we are located right on a highway. If you do want to bring your dog along, we strongly encourage you to keep them leashed and close to you. Additionally, PLEASE do not leave your dog in the house unattended for extended periods of time. Many restaurants and wineries in Sonoita are dog-friendly, so you should have no issues bringing your dog along with you.
KITCHEN AMENITIES: The Adobe House kitchen is fully outfitted with a refrigerator, oven, microwave, basic cookware and utensils, and wine glasses to enjoy local Sonoita wine!
BATHROOM AMENITIES: We provide basics such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
BEDROOM AMENITIES: A cozy queen bed with extra bedding is provided.
INDOOR LIVING: The comfy Adobe House living room is perfect to enjoy a glass of wine and spend time together. We've provided a selection of games as well as magazines to enjoy.
OUTDOOR LIVING: Enjoy the sunset or stargaze from the private patio.
GENERAL: The Adobe House is equipped with central air conditioning and heating. Free Wifi is included, and ample parking is located right outside.
Please note that the Adobe House does not have a TV, but we do have WiFi so please bring along your laptop if you’d like to unwind with television or a movie. Looking to disconnect from your devices? The Adobe House is stocked with board games and magazines!
