Well appointed recently renovated 1 bedroom Efficency Apartment in a historical quirky old building built 1903 , close to Downtown Kalamazoo and the action. Farmers market, brew pubs, restaurants, night clubs, shopping and more. Also close to Bronson Hospital & Children's Hospital, and a wide range of Boutiques and business's. This apartment comes complete with a full kitchen, comfortable Leather lounge,cable, Wifi and a comfortable bed to relax in when your day is done, free off street parking.

COVID-19 UPDATE: To ensure our Guests safety we have increased our cleaning to include a total Apartment clean and treatment with a Medical Grade commercial Antiseptic to protect against viruses after each guest checks out. As such we are not able to allow early check in due to the increased time required after each stay, and we hope you understand.

This is an efficiency apartment with 3 rooms in total, a separate Bedroom, Bathroom Kitchen and living room. Free off-street parking, Gas heating, in window air-conditioning, fully appointed kitchen containing gas range, Microwave, Coffee machine, stainless steel cook ware full size refrigerator (10 cf). Free Wi-Fi and TV and is less than 1 mile from the Hospital and downtown Kalamazoo.

This is a full apartment, access is via a key code that is changed after each booking.
You will be sent your key code a few days before your check in. Parking off the street is to either side of the building, or at the rear of the building accessible via the side street, there is no designated parking.

Downtown is a only 1.4 miles away, an easy walk or a short drive or Uber, Lyft or Bus.
Western University is only 4.9 miles away, the Bank Street farmers market is only 0.9 miles away, the Hospital is only 0.7 miles away, this is a centrally well located area that is up and coming and currently undergoing gentrification. It is surrounded by lots of entertainment options while being close to Business's, Hospital, and the University Campus.

This is an old industrial/residential mixed area of downtown Kalamazoo that is being revived and undergoing transformation, our building was built in 1903 and is also being renovated while we try to keep the "Industrial" look. We recommend trying, Black Owl Cafe for awesome coffee and food, Visit The Union brew pub for live music, good food and a good range of beers and cocktails. Other great food options include Food Dance, Principle, Zazios to mention a few.

We are a couple who love to travel and enjoy the world, we often prefer to stay close to the heart of cities, enjoy the vibe and get to feel the cities heart beat. My favorite city in the world so far is Paris, this city has a feeling like no other city in the world. We love comfort, value for money and expect cleanliness above all else. Note about the building: While it may be old and look a bit industrial on the outside don't let this fool you, the owners are investing in the building and slowly doing it up, the plan is to keep the industrial look on the outside while fully renovating the interiors. There are a number of permanent residents living there in the other Apartments and we hope you enjoy your stay at our place.
