Sheerwater is a truly unique seaside property whose character oozes classy marine. Comprising 8 bedrooms, it is the ideal holiday spot for multiple families. With 2 large lounge, living and kitchen areas, it can be separated or opened up through large sliding doors into a beautiful mid tropical courtyard out to back sprawling green grass, an estuary and national park. Located in the Jewel of the Tweed, it provides the best of beach and bush at your doorstep. Ariel shots coming!

숙소
We are told that once your arrive at Sheerwater, it is like walking into a tropical location far away. With all modern appliances and amenities, the house has been built from secondhand timbers milled on site with offsetting rusted steel and limestone walls on top of a beautiful polished wooden floor that replicates a ship's deck. If your family needs a stowaway experience for a short period to take your minds away from the hustle and bustle of modern life, then Sheerwater is definitely your choice.

The selection of spacious bedrooms, living areas and quiet hideways/day beds and entertainment areas is endless. In short, there is a place for everyone - whether time together or time apart.

The size and layout of this magnificent home make it ideal for yoga or health retreats, surfing or sport training, corporate events or large/joint family getaways.

The property is surrounded by lush tropical gardens with direct and private access through to the crystal clear waters of Hastings Point estuary.

Miscellaneous water sports equipment including kayaks available for guest use.

The main wing on the ground floor contains a large fully equipped kitchen with access through to the butlers kitchen, gas stove, breakfast bar, high ceilings, dining table, lounges, media room, bedroom and bathroom.

Nearby there is a large entertainment room with daybeds, bar area, fridge & flat screen TV - both areas flow seamlessly out to the large covered patio featuring a BBQ and plenty of outdoor furniture and daybed to relax and unwind on.

The second smaller wing is located at the front entrance of the property and features another kitchen with outdoor bar servers, an open plan living area with dining table, lounge and flat screen TB which also opens out to two decks - front deck and also the central deck area complete with two outdoor dining settings.

BEDROOMS:

With one bedroom downstairs in the main wing, upstairs you will find 7 more generous sized bedrooms sprawled out along the top floor of both wings.

The following is the layout of bedrooms and numbers for future reference of any booking.

First bedroom is a master suite featuring a King size bed, ceiling fan, stunning ensuite with free standing bath-tub, large shower with clear rooftop glass and direct access to the balcony with views of the estuary.

Second central bedroom is enormous and consists of two single size beds which can convert to a king on request and has direct access to the balcony with bush and estuary views.

Third bedroom includes a Queen size bed, ceiling fan and also has direct access to the balcony with beautiful estuary views.

Fourth bedroom features 1 bunk bed with a pull out mattress underneath.

Fifth bedroom is downstairs in the main back wing with queenside bed, built in cupboard, ceiling fan, separate door access to mid court yard and balcony, and adjacent access to toilet and main bathroom.

Sifth hallway bedroom connects both wings of the property and consists of 2 sets of bunk beds. This area is perfect for the kids as a hangout spot.

Seventhth bedroom upstairs located at the front wing of the home features a Queen size bed, walk through robe into ensuite and shared bathroom.

Eighth bedroom upstairs also located at the front wing of the home includes built in cupboards, ceiling fan, 2 Single size beds which can be joined to make a king if requested.

There are four bathrooms and separate toilet in the property, three include gorgeous free standing bathtubs. All bathrooms have a unique feature of glass ceilings to enjoy the view to the sky.

WIFI AND LINEN INCLUDED

The common remark without a lie: "I've never seen anything like it." You can close off areas and not hear a peep - so solidly is this ship built. It is more amazing in real life than in photo - truly one of a kind. This place has the "Wow" factor.

Sheerwater is a solid build and you will be instructed how to close off sections to reduce noise levels so that reasonable get togethers can be enjoyed without affecting neighbours.

There are great places to party in local venues, but no parties or functions permitted at the property in consideration of our neighbours. Noise complaints will result in loss or your security deposit & on the spot eviction.

The Gold Coast theme parks are approximately 40 minutes drive north and Byron Bay only 35 minutes south.

Our home caters for 6 cars max for parking - 4 in carport and driveway, 2 in front yard by kerbside. Cars should not be parked on road or in front of neighbours properties. This is a must. Please reduce cars number by travelling together if possible.

Hastings Point is renowned for its natural beauty. It has a shallow and safe estuary which is hugely popular to young families and a headland which is famous for its unique rocky foreshore, camping and whale watching. It has good surfing spots north and south of the headland and the next northern beach is the famous Cabarita. The estuary is your backyard for canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing and swim hole and short stroll down the road for the beach and more estuary for all water activities.

All your basic needs can be met by foot at Hastings Point General Store or North Star Holiday Park or you can take a 2 minute drive north or south to Cabarita or Pottsville for supermarkets, shops and restaurants galore. It is approximately 25 minutes drive south to Byron or north to the Sthn Gold Coast including Gold Coast Airport. 40 minute drive to Gold Coast theme parks. We are surrounded by the famous Culdera National Park so why not chance your luck climbing the famous Mt Warning or just relax, throw in a line and take in the views.
