And gaze in amazement as the Falcons swoop and dive above your heads. 100m from the entrance to the car ferry to France. Built on top of a historic British pub called The First and Last (it is the last pub in the UK and closest to mainland Europe) dating back to 1820 converted into a family hostel.

What an incredible view of the Dover Cliffs as you sleep or lay on the bed but I would suggest it as a place for sleeping only. The location is perfect to walk downtown for food, up to visit the castle or stroll along the top of the cliffs. You might say it's 'hotel meets…

I run a travellers hostel built over a pub in Dover and two holiday cottages, one on top of the White Cliffs and the other at the end in Deal. Pop into the pub anytime for a chat.
