Sleeping under the stars, waking up to the sounds of nature and life changing conversations around campfires often remind people of their connection with nature.

숙소
Cabins made almost entirely in woods. It is open air and as close to living in nature as you get. Our campsite is foot accessible to guests. if you choose to join us for meals, a camfire or for socializing with other guests you are welcome to enjoy this common space.

Please, no smoking in the tents or on the property. We used to let smokers stay here, but they stink up the cabin and it is a fire hazard outside.

Some cell phones don't work here, but since we have free wifi in the cabin, if your phone works with a wifi network, you are good to call. You can sometimes get network service on the Woodscation while trek.

Dogs are welcome to stay here but with a few requirements: since we have so many animals, we require that your dogs be kept on a leash when outside (the goats get very nervous with large loose dogs). Also, we don't allow dogs in the loft or on the couch in tents, so please bring a doggie bed. (your doggie can go on the couch if you bring a cover for it) If that is difficult, let us know and we will provide a doggie pillow. We have no gate that we can't set up so your dog can be on the leash in the camping area in night.

You are invited, if you feel you would be harmonious here. Pet the goats, check out our chickens, cows, cats, miniature dog and enjoy the very fresh air. I might even teach you how to milk a goat/cow. If you come here when there is no moonlight and the sky is clear, you will see lots of stars. Simply says its a life away from your life.

This is a hidden spot literally just 17 miles from the hustle and bustle of Dharamshala with its restaurant, but it feels lost in time and like a total retreat. In the day you will meet farmers and women blessing their crops and feed their flock. At night you will see fireflies and hear the rushing river, crickets and the distant sounds of the temple. An evening campfire is a great way to end the day at sunset on the big country sky with snow capped view of mountains.

We check in with guests daily and are helpful in navigating your stay in Woodscation. We have staff available to assist you with your every need. If you want to return after dark, someone will greet you and walk you back to your room. They will place Incense and offerings at your door daily and make sure your space is clean and you have what you need. There is nothing more spectacular than having a candlelit dinner under the stars. We will make sure you feel safe and very well cared for.
