Victorian house built in 1900 renovated with original details and decorated with modern day charm. This apt has a private entrance and a wraparound porch with views of the Beacon Mountains and Hudson River. It's great for entertaining as it has a large dining table, seating areas and the views from the porch.

There are 4 additional apartments in the building that can be rented for a larger party.

This apt has a master bedroom and a sofa bed in one of the sitting rooms which converts to a second bedroom.
We are taking all possible measures to deter any contamination and are following the procedures outlined by the State, Federal Government and Airbnb. Our apts have been booked for long term rentals only throughout the lockdown and we are requiring 24 hours between occupancy for our cleaning crew to go in and decontaminate. We are taking extra steps to ensure the apts are fully disinfected between guests. Our cleaning crew are wearing protective gear and wiping all surfaces, switches, doorknobs and handles with disinfectant. All bedding will be thoroughly washed and sanitized as well as bathrooms, appliances and floors. We clean the front door knob each day and leave a spray bottle of disinfectant in the hallway to use on the front door. We also have all purpose cleaner in each apt.
During stays we ask that guests adhere to the following rules:
Respect each others space
-do not enter apts without permission
-do not get closer than 6ft to anyone you meet in the building
-avoid exiting your apt if you hear someone in the hall to avoid contact
- Use gloves when entering and leaving the building
-Use separate entrances to your apts if you have them ( Apt 1 & Apt 2)
-Gatherings larger than the group renting the apt will have to be approved by Heights House management.
*Please understand that our cleaning fees have been increased to compensate our cleaning crew for their extra time.
Our wifi is very strong. Many of our guests have been working from the apartments since March and we have yet to have any issues or complaints.
The TV is a Roku which means you can login to your streaming app accounts through the TV. We do not have cable.

Heights House’s place is located in Newburgh, New York, United States.
Newburgh is a historic town with beautiful old architecture and a fascinating history. There are wonderful restaurants, shops and museums nearby as well as hiking and biking excursions. The town has evidence of harder times but it is very safe now. Our immediate neighborhood is diverse and friendly with most of the residents knowing one another. On a nice day you will often find neighbors on the bluff across from the house with family, friends, and dogs.
Most of our local and out of town guests feel perfectly comfortable in Newburgh but depending on your expectations, we are happy to answer specific questions.
Unfortunately we cannot accept cancellations upon arrival.
