Due to COVID-19 there are lockdowns in place across the UK and travel is not permitted other than in limited circumstances until at least April. Failure to follow the law is a criminal offence.
A perfect place to relax and recharge in any season of the year! Our charming cottage has character, peacefulness and a dedicated spa area which includes sauna and hot tub. The whole place is solely for you.
The cottage is ideal for two but comfortably accommodates four so will suit two couples or one couple with children.
When you make your booking request, please say a little about your trip to our area. Also check your Airbnb profile is up-to-date. :-)

If you're looking for a rustic cottage on the edge of woodland in the countryside rather than a a luxury, apartment-style break, then our place is likely to appeal to you!
The whole cottage property is completely set apart from other properties and it has private enclosed garden not overlooked.
By the way, the bedrooms are set up as one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. If you're one couple, let us know which bedroom layout you want.

In the living room you'll find a stone surround fireplace with log burning stove. This part of the cottage dates back to 1832 and has ceiling beams. As part of your welcome a provision of logs will be placed alongside the log burner.
기타 주의사항
Wi-Fi is available throughout the cottage with good broadband speeds for streaming catch-up channel programmes on the internet-enabled TV.
There is some sound of vehicles in the garden of the property as we're off a B road but most people don't find any distraction from this. The birds singing outside the kitchen door get much more of their attention!
Please take a moment to check out our House Rules. For example, in our House Rules you will find:
- No shoes in the main house beyond the kitchen
- If swimwear is to be worn in hot tub, it must rinsed and dried in advance as swimwear spoils the water clarity and purity
- Note this is a no smoking property throughout.
Please note we can't do Sunday arrivals (check in.)

The cottage is just outside village of Sling, near Coleford in the Forest of Dean. The Forest of Dean covers 35 square miles and is a place of few crowds and much peace, with the largest area of old oak trees in Britain. Ruth and I love living in the Wye Valley. We have have travelled far and wide and there are few places in the world to beat it. We grown up children living in various parts of the country and one even in Slovenia.

We meet and greet all staying guests. We aim to provide a warm and helpful welcome. We'll show you the spa area and run you through how the hot tub and sauna work so you'll have no concerns. Our holiday cottage is very special to us and we will help you settle in so it's a special stay for you. You'll then be left to yourselves for the duration of your stay (exception - maintenance on a Wednesday at 11 am if you're on a 7 night stay. )
