Travel restrictions
Due to COVID-19, there are lockdowns in place across the UK, and travel is banned other than in limited circumstances. Failure to follow the law is a criminal offence. Learn more.
Come and get away from it all with a peaceful, back to basics stay in a beautiful 16ft yurt on a working organic farm in SE Cornwall.
숙소
The Big Yurt is in a sheltered south facing field with stunning views over the Looe Valley. There are two other yurts in the same field, White Yurt (sleeps 6) and Little Yurt (sleeps 2). We are close to the village of Herodsfoot.
Facilities are basic.
There is a King size bed bed and a double futon plus the option of two single mattresses. Bedding is provided but you will need to bring your own towels.
There is a two ring camping stove, kettle and pans, cups, plates and cutlery.
Each yurt has a wood burner and a crate of wood is provided.
Additional wood can be purchased at £10 per crate and for the more adventurous a hand saw and axe is provided and you are permitted to forage your own wood for free.
Each Yurt has its own picnic table and fire pit.
Your yurt has its own cold water tap (safe for drinking) and compost toilet for your personal use. In the yurt field there is a communal shower and sink unit, and kitchen sink area, both with hot water. Guests are responsible for cleaning these areas (cleaning products will be provided) and leaving 2 minutes after cleaning before the next group use the facilities.
Groups welcome. Additional guests can also camp (bring your own tent) for a fee of £10 per night per person.
I grow organic vegetables for a box scheme, so seasonal freshly picked vegetables are available, you will need to order the day before and your order will be freshly picked.
Dogs are not allowed in the yurts.
We have added solar panels and packs so you can charge your phone/torch etc in situ. These solar units also provide lighting. There is no mains electricity supply for use.
There is no wifi.
Please note nature is all around you and this includes spiders and more! Please be prepared for occasional little bugs etc around you!
Remember, we do not provide towels so please bring your own.
There is a toilet block in the car park - please note this is NOT for use except for people living permanently on site, under precautionary Covid 19 guidelines.
게스트 이용 가능 공간/시설
The yurt is on a working organic farm. You cannot drive down to the field, however a trolley/wheelbarrow is provided for bringing your belongings up and down.
기타 주의사항
We do not provide towels, please bring your own.

We are not easy to find so please check the directions carefully and if you do get lost we are 400m east of the village of Herodsfoot which has the post code PL14 4QX which is more helpful if you are lost and using a SAT NAV.
If you are heading west into Herodsfoot, Trevalon entrance is on your left, you will see polytunnels and a timber frame barn.
Turn right and park against the hedge (it's pretty obvious), if I am around I will come and greet you if not the yurts are 100m down the hill beyond the carpark, past the veg patch, through the gate and into Three Corners field, where you will see the yurts.
Make yourself at home and enjoy your stay.
