Whether you’re coming out to ski or snowboard, or just enjoy the outdoors, you’re looking at the perfect location!

There's free parking, a free bike, and a hot tub and sauna next door. 6 ski resorts (Copper Mountain, Keystone, Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin, Loveland, and Vail) are less than half an hour away, and the bus to Copper is right across the street!

This unit is a stand-alone main bedroom with a king bed and an en suite bathroom, with a private entrance. It's been recently updated with new carpet and new appliances. The complex also has a hot tub and sauna (both free), and laundry facilities (not free) in the building next door; however, please note that hot tub and laundry access is currently not available due to COVID-19.

There’s a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, and electric tea kettle to boil water. Main Street in Frisco is a short walk away if you’d prefer to eat out, and there are many bars and restaurants to pick from.

There's free parking in the complex parking lot, and I have a free beater bike for you to use to get around town.

You’ll be close to everything beautiful Summit County has to offer:
-Half a mile from the center of Frisco Main Street
-Less than 10 minutes to Copper
-Less than 10 minutes to Silverthorne’s outlet stores, and many other retailers in Silverthorne and Dillon
-20 minutes to Breckenridge
-20 minutes to Keystone
-25 minutes to Arapahoe Basin (aka A Basin)
-25 minutes to Vail
-40 minutes to Beaver Creek.

This unit is on the third floor. There’s no elevator, only stairs, but don’t write it off – the views from the front deck are great! You can see the usually-snow-covered Gray’s and Torrey’s Peaks (14,000-footers), and the colors are especially nice at sunset. (Plus you can get a little cardio in to help you adjust to the altitude.)

Important COVID-19 info, updated as of 7/14/2020:
- Beautiful Summit County is welcoming visitors back!
- Frisco (and all of Summit County) is a beautiful place where you can spend a lot of time outdoors in sunny, gorgeous weather - especially in the summer! In addition, both Frisco and Breckenridge have closed off sections of their Main Streets for part of the summer to allow for more, safer outdoor space for restaurants and stores.
- The majority of retail stores are open, with limits on capacity and masks required. Restaurants and breweries are open at 50% of capacity, and they are using outdoor seating if they have it.
- Copper Mountain is for summer activities: 18 holes of golf, the Rocky Mountain Coaster, hiking, biking, disc golf and more.
- Dillon Farmers' Market is running every Friday through mid September.
- My property has a keypad to enter. You do not need to meet someone for keys or need to interact with anyone in person during your stay.
- This unit is entered directly from the outside. There are no public or shared interior spaces that you need to travel through to get in and out of the room.
- Cleanliness is more important than ever! My local professional property management company is taking extra measures to provide a safe stay. Their staff are continually being trained on CDC guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting, as well as safe protocols for wearing PPE. The housekeepers are cleaning in accordance with Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA) COVID guidelines and protocols for cleanings, which are very similar to what was recently released by Airbnb for their cleaning standards.
- In addition, my property management company has an invested in an American-made electrostatic disinfectant sprayers to apply an EPA-registered organic and biodegradable solution, which kills germs and viruses including COVID-19. This solution was EPA tested and achieved the lowest toxicity level and placed in the same category as drinking water. The electrostatic sprayer will be used in between guests to disinfect and sanitize the space.
- There will be a small bottle of hand sanitizer and a pair of face masks in the room upon arrival to help ensure you have what you need for a safe stay. There are also disinfectant wipes in the unit that you are welcome to use during your stay.
- There is an air purifier in the unit with a HEPA filter and UV-C light that you can use to help purify and filter the air. I contacted the manufacturer about the UV-C light's efficacy against COVID-19, and they said "Our units have not been specifically tested against Covid-19, but have proven effective against other viruses."
- There will be a minimum of 24 hours between guests. (My calendar will automatically reflect this, so you don't need to worry about this when booking.)
- My minimum stay is 2 nights, and my cancellation policy is flexible to allow for last-minute cancellations (as long as you don't pick the non-refundable option).

There are a few things I ask of my guests:
- Please don't travel if you're sick.
- Please observe social distancing while in Summit County and stay at least 6 feet away from other individuals.
- You must wear a mask to go into any public spaces in Summit County. This is a county requirement. This applies to all public spaces indoors (stores, restaurants, etc.) as well as outdoors if/when you can't maintain at least 6 feet from other people.
- If you have any questions or concerns please message me! I live in Frisco (next door to the unit), and I know what's going on locally.

Regarding cleaning charges: My base cleaning fee is $80 and applies per stay, whether it's one night or a week. This is an expensive place to live and the cost supports reliable, thorough housekeepers that have high standards for cleanliness. Due to the extra measures both the property management company and cleaners are taking to provide a safe place to stay while COVID-19 is a risk, there is an additional charge of $10 ($90 total).

Frisco Short-Term Rental License STR19-F0254. Booking will include 2.0% Town of Frisco sales tax and 2.35% Town of Frisco lodging tax in addition to state and county taxes. I offer a 10% discount for non-refundable reservations (you will find it during the booking process) as a way to offset some of these costs.

Frisco is an adorable mountain town centrally located in the heart of Summit County. It's backed by the 10-Mile Range and Mount Royal on one end and beautiful Lake Dillon on the other. Frisco's Main Street offers several bars and restaurants to chose from if you want don't want to leave town. But if you do everything is close. There are 6 ski resorts less than half an hour away. Copper Mountain is 10 minutes away, Breckenridge and Keystone are only 20 minutes away, Vail, Arapahoe Basin, and Loveland are all about 25, Denver is about an hour, and the Denver airport is only 90 minutes away. Beaver Creek is about 45 minutes away.

The paved recreational pathway that connects Frisco to Vail in one direction and to Dillon, Silverthorne, and Breckenridge is right behind the building. It's great for biking in the summer, and it also connects you to the trail system right behind the Town of Frisco, which is usable year-round for walking and hiking, for mountain biking in the summer, and for fat biking or cross country skiing in the winter. (The trail isn't plowed, but people are very active here and snow typically gets packed down quickly after a storm.) The trail system here is one of my favorite things about Frisco! And you don't have to be an athlete to enjoy a walk in the woods.

I'm a former New Englander who moved out to Summit County, Colorado in November 2015 on a whim. I wanted to be near some big mountains - and I got what I wanted! I live in the beautiful little mountain town of Frisco, and as far as I'm concerned it's paradise. There are amazing things to do outside all year round, but I primarily spend my time rock climbing, biking, running, hiking, snowboarding, and playing music. (I haven't even gotten into water sports yet!) I'm also a sucker for trivia and games, and I love baking, sarcasm, and bad jokes. I also love traveling! I'll go anywhere, in the US or internationally. So far I've been to Ecuador, Panama, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Bonaire, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Scotland, Norway, and all over the United States (went to Kauai last fall!), but I'm definitely not stopping there. I will be a lifelong traveler. Last fall I went to Prague, Guatemala and Belize. I'm already looking forward to more adventures next year!

I live next door to this unit, but I travel a lot, especially on the weekends (and usually for fun). Because of this I have a property manager, Book By Owner, that manages the property locally and is on call 24 hours a day should you need assistance. They will send you a confirmation via email and email you access information prior to arrival.

Even though I'm not home all the time, this is my rental and my home - I am very much involved in it and I take pride in it. I have set up the room to be as inviting, comfortable and practical as possible. But if there's anything that would make your stay special please let me know ahead of time, and I'll do my best to make it happen (assuming it's a reasonable request, of course).
