COVID REQUIREMENTS AND CONSIDERATIONS:

1) COVID-19 TESTING AND VACCINATION: State government law requires us to have all guests submit via email proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative PCR molecular COVID-19 test result 72 hours before check-in.

2) POOL & COMMON AREAS: Many common areas in communities around the island are limiting capacity. This includes pools, tennis courts, and children parks and is an evolving phenomenon. Please reach out to us prior to booking if you would like to know the status of common areas.

3) MASKS: Masks are required in many common areas and establishments. Please travel with a hefty supply of masks.

4) CLEANING PROCEDURES: We have updated our cleaning procedures to include industry best practices in response to COVID-19. We are using disinfectant cleaning products on all surfaces and are programming a 24 hour gap between check-outs and check-ins. Our cleaning staff wears PPE during the entire cleaning and disinfecting process.










LIVING AREAS

The main level has an open concept layout that connects the dining room, living room, kitchen, and terrace. The kitchen has granite countertops and a center isle so that whoever is cooking is always part of the group. The dining table comfortably sits six and overlooks the terrace and views of the resort. The terrace has a large sofa and spiral staircase to the private rooftop. Enter the rooftop and you are greeted with a large array of options for socializing or relaxing. There are both covered and open air options on the rooftop. From here you can enjoy the trade winds and Caribbean sum while you relax with friends and family.

BEDROOMS

The master bedroom has 1 queen bed with flat screen TV, walk-in closet, breakfast area, private bathroom, and resort views. The 2nd bedroom has 1 queen beds with full closet. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds, full closet, and desk in case you need to get some work done. All bedrooms are appointed with top notch furnishing and resort quality linens. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms share a full bathroom. Complimentary bathroom amenities are provided with each stay.

KITCHEN

Villa Ensenada offers a beautiful and spacious kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a center isle with electric stovetop and oven, and all the cooking accessories you need for an extended stay. You’ll love how the cook is always part of the group. There is also a convenient window to the terrace you can use to send appetizers and drinks up to the rooftop.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Villa Ensenada is located within the largest resort community in Puerto Rico, Palmas del Mar. Palmas del Mar offers wonderful mile-long beach, multiple dining options, marina, tennis, and golf – among other offerings. The resort has miles and miles of running and cycling trails. There is also a community pool a 1 minute walk from Villa Ensenada.

The list of activities to do in Palmas is virtually endless, but here are some of our favorites:


Golf at one of Palmas del Mar’s two 18-hole Golf Courses. Tee times can be booked over the phone.
Tennis at the Palmas del Mar Athletic Club with 20 courts that include artificial grass, Har-Tru Clay, and hard courts.
Lunch or dinner at “La Pescaderia,” an oceanfront restaurant by the marina with some of the best seafood on the island.
Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 40-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship.
Chill at the beach! It is 5-10 minute golf cart ride away, is a mile-long, and has a great beach front grill!

GETTING AROUND

We highly recommend renting a golf cart while staying Villa Ensenada. Our staff is available to help coordinate golf cart rentals.

AMENITIES:

West Indies strives to deliver top notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. If you are staying for more than 3 nights and the property does not have a washer and dryer we can coordinate a complimentary towel changeover, subject to availability. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs, and an ice cooler.

West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 2 rolls of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.

HOUSEKEEPING:

The advertised cleaning fee covers cleaning before check-in and after check-out. Daily housekeeping can be requested at an additional cost of $99.00 per night. Daily housekeeping must be requested immediately after booking and it is subject to availability.

HOUSE RULES


Check-in time is at 4:00pm
Check-out time is at 11:00am
NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.
All bookings are contingent on signing a short term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
Maximum occupancy of 6 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors.
Under no circumstances may more than 6 guests stay at the property.
Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
Quiet hours from 10:00pm to 8:00am. Parties and excessive noise are not allowed during these hours. Failure to abide by this rule can result in immediate cancellation of booking and being expelled from the property.
Do not hang towels or clothes from balcony or windows.
Do not wash white towels with colored beach towels. Any damaged towels will be charged from the security deposit.
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess, stained towels/linens will be charged from damage deposit
Subletting not allowed
Host will not pay for hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of cancelling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.
