숙소
Our cabin is an eclectic artsy space with an open kitchen, dining, living space. There is a large master on the ground floor with sitting area and upstairs is equipped with a large bedroom and a hideaway sleeping nook. Only bathroom is on the ground floor.
We host and do all the cleaning ourselves, so we ensure it is sparkling and cozy before you arrive.
Primary heat is wood, though there are heaters in every room. If you are traveling with young children, please note there is no gate around the fireplace. If you think this might create a curiosity for your little one, this might not be a good fit for you! We have portable AC units upstairs and downstairs in the summer months.
There is no land-line telephone or cable TV. We do offer a TV with Amazon Prime and some other apps. Bring your devices for streaming if you want other options. We provide a selection of DVDs (TV has built in DVD player) viewing as well.
We are in the woods but have satellite Wi-Fi that provides a strong signal. It is very reliable but maybe 1x-2x a year it goes out for a few hours for maintenance or something.
We have the capacity to host up to 8-10 people, depending on whether you double up in the beds. Only one bathroom though! So keep that in mind.
Most of the art on the walls is created by Elizabeth and most is for sale, inquire if you find something you'd like to leave with!
We love interesting textiles, so you will find kantha quilts made from vintage Indian saris, re-upholstered vintage finds, and a homey combination of rugs and prints.
There is a full laundry that you are welcome to use.
Our space is homey, eclectic, and very clean, but it is not hotel perfect! The guests that love our space love its hominess and the location for its access to nature and hiking both on our property and directly out our back gate into the Three Sisters Wilderness.
Please read our entire listing to be sure our place is the right fit. We can't change our location, and the nightly value is transparent when you book. Keep in mind that we charge a base rate for two to keep the cost down for a couple and then $20 per night for each additional person or pet - for the duration of the stay. We don’t rent a night or two for extra guests for short duration stays, and the Airbnb platform does not support that. For longer stays we may break our own rules at our discretion. We charge a flat $65 for cleaning, and Airbnb adds their 12-15% on top of the booking amount. When we attract the right guests we always meet fabulous people who enjoy our place immensely.
We are slowly constructing a lake out the back. It used to be a horse arena but ultimately it will be a large body of water! If you think this will bother you, this might not be the place for you! We don't actively work on it when we have guests.
Regarding our floors - in the main living space they are laminate wood. Over time they have gotten a little marred so even when clean they look less than perfect. Please note that our cleaning protocol involves vacuuming, swiffering for dust and fine particles, and then mopping. We do this along with the rest of our protocol before EVERY guest arrives! We like it as perfect as we can get it, but the floors never look as perfect as we’d like. :)
게스트 이용 가능 공간/시설
You will have access to the whole cabin. All other buildings and garages are private please. Feel free to explore the property, while keeping the area around the main house private. There is a lot of space to explore and it is fully fenced!
기타 주의사항
Our cabin is remote feeling with easy access to town. We are about 3.5 miles on a dirt road which can be bumpy, dusty, muddy, icy, or snowy! We keep the roads in good shape, but depending on the season, just know a dirt road is a dirt road! And can only be graded when damp, so end of summer season it can be bumpier than we'd like.
Please be sure to read our entire listing to be sure that our cabin and property is a good fit! We can't change our location or our space and we want you to love your stay :)
If we get a snow requiring plowing, it can sometimes take a bit to get our place plowed and the community as well.
We have pastures for horses that we consider on a case by case basis.

위치
시스터즈(Sisters), 오리건, 미국
We live in an area that generally has large pieces of property, so there are no neighbors within seeing or (generally) hearing distance, save for the main house, which is a good distance from the cabin. We have 40 fenced acres, 30 of which once housed horses, but is beautiful to walk. Out our back gate is direct access to the wilderness. You could hike the three sisters from our property, if you were so inclined!

We love living in Sisters, love our property, and now we love sharing it with our guests. Bill ran a whitewater rafting company for years, then we ran it together. It was called The Electric Rafting Company, because the guests would be so 'shocked' at what a great time they'd have. You may just be invited to a campfire with Bill and Emily on the guitar! We built inflatable boats for years in Northern California before migrating north.

We live on the property, so we can be available to answer questions or assist while you are staying at the cabin. You will probably see Bill mowing or splitting wood or watering if it is the summer season. We have a brown lab named Lucy who is a super sweetheart and a rescue boy named Pinto. Both love to meet new friends. Pinto smiles, so if it looks like he's baring his teeth at you, that's his cute smile! Both dogs are very gentle and sweet. Let us know if you prefer not to have them around or if your dog wouldn't and we will keep them up!
