Radiating peaceful old-world charm and style, this small 1889 cottage features vintage pieces, comfortable furnishings and an abundance of cushions. The bedrooms are carpeted for added warmth and comfort and are beautifully decorated in tranquil colours and simple styling. The pot bellied wood heater in the kitchen is reminiscent of an earlier time , with wood and kindling provided during winter. The full-sized kitchen has been fully equipped with everything you need to prepare and enjoy your own home-cooked meals. Despite it's quaint charms the cottage has been fitted out to suit modern needs, with NBN wifi, a renovated modern bathroom and air conditioning that will keep you cool in summer and warm in winter on those evenings when you don’t want to light the fire.
Sitting within a pretty cottage garden, you can relax and enjoy a coffee or wine on the front porch with the sounds of birds in the trees. The fully fenced yard also has a lawn out back for the children (or fur kids) to enjoy, with Queens Park just a couple of minutes walk away.

The cottage is quite small - perfect for a couple and one or two small children - two couples could fit in a pinch, but it will be cozy! Second bedroom is divided from the living space via floor to ceiling curtains.
While the yard is fully fenced, the front fences are low, which will only be a problem if you have a large furry friend who likes to jump fences.
Due to COVID, we’re taking extra steps to clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces between reservations and we always have a minimum 24 hour window between reservations.
