We will meet at Lilydale train station travel by bus one hour east of Melbourne to the tiny mountain village of Warburton and walk into a lovely forest to discover deeper and more profound connection with our surroundings using methods drawn from Deep, Healing & Sacred Ecology and indigenous shamanic practice. After connecting, opening, tuning in among the trees and enjoying our senses in nature, expansive visualisations and deep relaxation, we will make our way to a riverside cafe to enjoy refreshments (own cost) and reflect on our experiences. On this short walk, talk, sit and lie down, we will escape the bustle of the city and explore nature as a tool to facilitate relaxation and connection. Eco-healing—the process of opening into the power of nature in this manner—blends physical movement, feeling, relaxation, visualisation and meditation, leading to profound tranquility and personal insight.
I'm an experienced healer and bodyworker fascinated by the restorative properties of nature. I was drawn to learn about and offer eco-healing after many years of experiencing nature and finding that we can heal on many levels with our natural environment. I’ve studied with indigenous healers and spiritual teachers from all over the world, working as a healer, workshop facilitator, professional travel writer, outdoor education expert and author. I have guided people in nature all over Australia and love that people so enjoy it and get so much from it.
