This experience is a mindful and sacred adventure to explore your inner and outer worlds using nature as a resource. Come with a question and your curious mind! This is intended for people who want to experience for themselves how powerful, healing and wise nature can be. This adventure is intended with the following objectives in mind: 1) Managing stress and building resilience 2) Deepening connection with one’s self and with nature 3) Exploring and appreciating the natural beauty of this area We will begin with a brief welcome and orientation to point out restroom facilities, as well as what to be mindful of. We will walk to a gathering point where we will begin with short introductions on names and intentions for being at this event. I will facilitate a centering practice. Each participant will then be taking a 30 minute solo journey and spend some time recording and observing the experience. After the walk, we will 1) create nature art 2) process this journey either in diads or as a group 3) have solo reflective time We will end with a sweet closing ceremony. Please note that I am happy to customize this for special occasions or requests. Examples include honoring birthdays, life transitions and life celebrations.
With 16 years of experience as a life designer, executive coach, facilitator and speaker, I have inspired and empowered people to live their lives at work and at home more sustainably and authentically. I have my certifications in ecotherapy, coaching, and art facilitation. In 2003, I received an award from Secretary Colin Powell for my work in the US Foreign Service coaching 350 US Embassy employees and family members through a 198-day evacuation. During my decade working at the Gates Foundation, I had the opportunity to infuse nature in many team building events and became the expert at managing chaos and creating more flow for busy executives. One of my passions is to guide more people on how to turn to nature as a resource for wisdom, healing and inner peace. "If you want to understand everything, turn towards nature." - Einstein
