프로그램
I will pick you up and we'll take a drive in a BMW M3 convertible sports to the very top of Mt. Hamilton where we will take in breathtaking views of the Bay Area. We will be visiting the Lick Observatory, which sits at one of the highest points on the mountain. This location is known by astronomy aficionados, students, and locals to the area. You can't get up to the top of the mountain in a van or bus because the roads are narrow, but we have the luxury of a car that can comfortably handle the twists, turns, and dips.
We can stop along the way, take pictures and soak in the views of Silicon Valley. I highly recommend you bring a camera because this is a unique opportunity to see a part of the Bay Area not commonly visited by tourists. Upon our arrival to the top of Mt. Hamilton, we will be taking a small walk around the observatory and museum. During our time there, we will take part in a quick museum tour and also have the opportunity to see the world's first largest refractor telescope of the late 19th century.
Other things to note
The car ride to the top is at least one hour; this includes stopping to take pictures. The museum tour is approximately 30 minutes and is free, but there are days in which the docents are not there.

I have lived in the Bay Area since I was a child and have grown up here for over 30 years. I love this place and I want to show you places that only locals know about. Places that travel books barely even know about! I know this place like the back of my hand and can show you the way to San Jose during the best hours. Or, San Francisco, if you want. I live and work as an Asst. Program Director right smack in the middle of San Jose, so I can give you a truly “local” experience and show you the real Bay Area. The one where every techie, entrepreneur, and movie star enjoys on a day to day basis.
