After picking you up from the train platform we will start from the central point of the Warsaw’s Downtown - the Palace of Culture and Science - a gift from “Uncle” Stalin to the Polish nation which we call the pimple on the city’s nose. To have enough energy for a whole day, we’ll have a breakfast on Próżna street - one of the very few pre-war streets that survived the destruction of the city in the 2nd World War. From here we will walk through the former Jewish Getto sites, see the buildings involved in the Warsaw Uprising Fights, spot venues connected with the Independence of Poland and finally reach the Royal Route - most representative boulevard of the capital. Krakowskie Przedmieście street will lead us straight to the most recognisable symbols of Warsaw - the Castle Square with king Sigismund’s Column and the Royal Castle and finally to the Old Town’s Square with our legendary protector - the Mermaid. From here the tram will take us over the Vistula river (yes, the same you’ve seen in Krakow) to the Warsaw’s Wild East how we call the Praga district. You’ll have a chance to listen to plenty of neighbourhood stories as well as try PYZY, the potato dumplings served in a jar.
Cześć! I'm Mikołaj Drózd. Together with Karolina Łyżwa we are local guides from Warsaw who are proud of our city and love to show it off to visitors. Since centuries locals from Krakow and Warsaw dispute which city is better. Now, when you’ve visited Krakow, it’s time for you to check out the capital and have your own opinion in this long lasting discussion. We will help you to discover main differences between the history, everyday life and the citys' vibe. We know everything from the best spots to eat, the historical intricacies, the poshest spots, to the dirty little secrets of this city.

Polish capital is full of contrasts. To give you the full picture we'll start in a busy Down Town, with its modern architecture of the business district. Later we'll travel in time back to the kings' days and see the part of the city listed on the UNESCO herritage list (along the Royal Route and the Old Town). And finally we'll cross the river Vistula to see totally different face of Warsaw - bohemian neighbourhood of Praga.
