Ray Berumen is an Orvis endorsed (2010-2019) Fly Fishing Guide with over 30 years experience in fly fishing and the industry. Formerly the Engineering Manager at both Orvis Rod Mfg. and British Fly Reels Ltd., he has both the technical and practical knowledge needed to instruct effectively. Ray currently holds a Vermont level II teaching license thru 2021. Born and raised in Colorado, he has lived in Manchester, Vermont for over 20 years. Ray spends over 140 days per year on the water, and more than half the time specifically on the Battenkill river in both Vermont and New York. NYDEC licensed
