We will meet in the cabin, where we will have access to the internal trails that lead to a spectacular and unexplored waterfall, approximately one hour's walk. Alternatively, there are a number of other walks to see other waterfalls. Before leaving, I will guide guests on routes to nearby streams and rivers while enjoying a smoothie made with local seasonal fruits. Guests will have the option of enjoying a coffee from the Pérez Zeledón area, homemade cheese, milk and eggs obtained from free range chickens. These products are from neighboring farms. The walk consists of visiting the 3 waterfalls that are inside the property. During the tour you can observe the rainforest and sometimes endemic animals of this area and the beautiful landscapes ; the mountains of Tinamastes and the Pacific Ocean view. After the walk and swim in the waterfall, a typical lunch of local origin will be held: it may include local fruits and vegetables, Costa Rican food, organic eggs, and salads.
Native Baru is a family farm, which has belonged to the Espinoza family for generations. I’ve hiked to and led hikes to most of the lesser known waterfalls and swimming holes The farm is located in the high and remote mountains of the rural communities of Baru. The farm is 45 minutes from Dominical. It is a special place, surrounded by forest, fresh air, and is far from the noise of the city.
The experience begins with the arrival at the farm, which in the mountain communities of Baru, you can enjoy beautiful landscapes. On the farm you will visit three waterfalls, which are located in the forest, so this site is completely ideal for people who love being in contact with nature, hiking, and being in unique places.
