In this trekking which lasts 4 hours and 30 minutes we will walk through a path where we will be watching endemic flora and fauna from the local forest call “esclerofilo” unique for the conditions of weather and soil. We will stop in 1 lake to see the beggining of the second oldest hydropower plant ruins in Chile. First the houses of the people who were working on the first gate from the lake. Then we will go inside of the forest to know some characteristics from some plants, after that we follow the path until the pool and second gate before of the hydropower plant were we Will star going down hill to get the river and the hydropower plant ruins. After that we follow the aqueducts which are part of the history of develop of Valparaíso because they are part of the water network of Valparaíso founded in 1900. An finally we go until the end of the Laguna Verde valley to finish the trekking.
I am a cofounder of Condor ecotourism, I have certification of “senderos de Chile” (trekkings of Chile) to make trekkings. I am developing activities in nature since more than 5 year ago and also I take classes from the local government schools, exchange students and tourist who come to Valparaiso, to nature. In those trekkings I mix knowledges of endemic flora and fauna from this region of Chile and the historical develop of Valparaiso city. I am porteño (local name from Valparaiso) lover of nature and committed with the conservation, diffusion, and promotion of life in natural places.
