We meet in the old farmhouse at MontRose, where we prepare for the next few hours in nature. I explain how interspecies communication works and how we will be applying it during this experience. Chief Stephen Fritz explains the history of the Khoi (the first people) in the area. We are driven to the starting point of the walk. A gentle hike takes us up to Ascension Cave where we sit in meditation acknowledging the ancestors of this land. We then move to Peer's Cave, or "Skilders Gat", the ancient burial site of the Khoi. Here Chief Stephen guides us in a traditional thanksgiving ceremony where we receive blessings from the spirit of this sacred place.
I have been working as a professional animal communicator since 2001. For the last 10 years I have been facilitating Nature retreats to help people connect with Nature and wildlife on a much deeper level. I am passionate about Wildlife and how we can work with Nature in order to assist the planet at this time, where so much of the precious earth has been destroyed. The walks are lead by myself and Khoi Chief Stephen Fritz, SA specialist guide who guides us in ceremonial Khoi tradition to local sacred sites, offering a perspective from the original people of these lands.

The walk is a gentle hike, however there is a bit of clambering over rocks. You do need to be relatively fit, but the pace is slow and gentle.
