The dinner takes place in a lovely restaurant in the center of Florence. I chose it as it meets my high requirements. After meeting in front of the restaurant, we take our booked table and start with the appetizers. The menu is set before our arrival, chosen by the guests taking into consideration food allergies and preferences. As the plates arrive after each other, I explain the story behind each dish, its ingredients, how it was born, who invented it contextualizing in the general history of Florence, Tuscany. After each dish, different Tuscan wines are at our disposal for tasting. Even these are chosen before. During dinner, we get to know each other, talk and discover Florence and Tuscany from an unusual perspective.

When I visit a new place for the first time, I really enjoy discovering the "must see" sights, but I am also very curious about the local gastronomy. I realized this tour for those who are also appassionate about the Tuscan gastronomy, but curious how the famous dishes were born. For those who want to spend some time with a local in a relaxed atmosphere. The Tuscan gastronomy has roots in poverty, talks about suffering and tears but even about rebirth. Come and listen to my stories while having dinner together in good company. I always host my guests as friends, not as tourists.
