Ciao!!! We will introduce each other and you will be given a white apron and be assigned to a working station.
Let's start!!! First of all you will make the original Bolognese sauce following Italian grandmothers' recipe. You will peel and chop the vegetables, season the mince meat, prepare the tomato sauce and cook all together under the Chef instructions. While the sauce is simmering in the the frying-pan you will start "getting dirty" and make the dough with flours and eggs. Once the dough is ready we will stretch and cut it so as to create our Tagliatelle. After that we will place the pasta on a wooden board and put the water to boil to cook our pasta. Once we have cooked the pasta and mixed it with the sauce we will sit together and enjoy our home-made Italian pasta.
Along the experience you will be offered unlimited wine and drinks so that you won't be thirsty.
At the end of the course you will receive a file containing all the instructions to prepare Tagliatelle Bolognese back home.

I am Francesco the founder of Pinsa, a company that specializes in baked products like pizza, panzerotti, focaccie and more. Before being in this business I was working as a financial analyst in London where I graduated.
During my studies I was also producing fresh-pasta in my house and selling it to restaurants in the London area so as to pay my tuition fees and living costs. My pasta was really appreciated as I was using the traditional method my mother taught me when I was still a kid. In my family in Italy every Sunday morning my brothers, mum and I were making tagliatelle, ravioli.......

Amazing experience! We went with our 2 boys and Francesco was very patient and kind to them! Such brilliant fun getting all floury and messy creating the tagliatelle from scratch! And Francesco’s Bolognese recipe was absolutely delicious! Fabulous experience for adults or with kids. I would highly recommend it!

This experience was honestly one of the highlights of our trip to Venice. We enjoyed spending the afternoon with Francesco making pasta from scratch and learning lots of cooking tips and tricks . Francesco was so welcoming and it felt like spending a couple of hours with a friend. I could not recommend this experience enough!

La experiencia con francesco fue maravillosa. Tanto mis sobrinos como mi marido se lo pasaron en grande, fue divertida, creativa y en todo momento nuestro anfitrión fue atento y amable. Our experience making authentic pasta Bolognese was beyond compare. Starting with the efficiency and modernness of his food lab to the precision and passion of his talent as a Master Chef and instructor, this experience was truly inspiring. We love learning about this dish and how to make it from scratch - completely using eggs and flour. Francesco is kind and beyond talented. Let me just start with WOW!! Francesco is the best! From start to finish, he made us feel welcomed. He taught us about Italian culture all the while teaching us how to cook an AMAZING dish!! He also made us feel like we knew what we were doing (admittedly, I am no chef, but Francesco did not treat me like he knew that when I’m sure he could tell about my lack of coordination with different kitchen utensils—haha)! We are on the homestretch of our 10 day trip to Italy and I can honestly say the cooking class has been one of our most favorite moments! Please book a class with Francesco NOW!!
