Experiences with me will vary depending on time of year and what needs to be done for the bee business. Activities include: building bee hives, checking in on honey bees hives, looking for healthy queen bees, extracting honey, sampling honey, cutting comb honey, rendering wax, making candles, making and tasting mead, learning plants, bee hunting (bee lining), medicine making, educational lessons on honey bees.
If we are getting into the bee hives I will provide bee hats, veils, and gloves.
I have bees all over the city. I take care of hives on rooftops, gardens, farms, restaurants, breweries, backyards, schools, parks, nature centers, and anywhere else people want me to keep bees. I relocate honey bees from buildings and trees were they are not wanted and take them to places they are wanted. I love what I do. I have taught for universities , bee clubs, schools, church groups, organizations and private individuals for over 9 years.
We will meet at one of my bee yards in the city. Since I have bees scattered throughout Indianapolis we may communicate to determine the best place. If we are opening bee hives I will bring hats, veils and gloves for you. Guests should wear long pants and sleeves if we are working bees. I will provide a unique experience and you will likely leave with a sweet memento.
