Depending on your interests or curiosity, you'll get a chance to try your hand...and voice...at broadcasting both recorded and live shows. We'll go step by step through the production process with either a radio or internet-based program complete with tips and tricks of the trade. If you prefer to be on the other side of the camera or microphone, you can share your story, music or other talents with a global audience. It's a relaxing, casual, fun experience and you'll get a copy of your show to share with others or just to keep as a special memento of your time in the Airstream Studio.
The Airstream Mobile Studio allows me to do the things I love most: interview guests, highlight new talent, livestream from jams and introduce my audience to amazing people. Whether broadcasting my radio show, producing a live event or hosting a show on my YouTube channel, the Airstream studio allows me to use the skills gained over a lifetime of producing, directing, engineering and hosting on radio, television, at live events and on the internet. Airstreaming radio is heard around the globe 24 hours a day, seven days a week and on terrestrial radio each Monday from Noon to 1 p.m.
Insider access to Nanoose Bay (on the waterfront), a local radio and television station as well as the media production facilities at the Vancouver Island University.
