Forget Marienplatz and the carillon, forget the Pinakotheks and all the stuff, that you find in your random guide-book! We're going to see the curious, funny, extraordinary, unusual sights, that few tourists ever get to see. It will be be a piece of Berlin in Munich, a high bunker, a very unusual monument for a world-famous musician and much more. Be prepared to be surprised! I appreicate interactive tours so I will be very happy about all of your remarks, contributions and questions. My promise for your: I will try to answer all your questions about Munich and if I don't know something I will look it up for you in Munich's biggest library where I'm a specialist!
Showing you my city is my passion! I have been volunteering in giving unusual sight-seeing tours for years. As a long-term local and history lover my passion is to show you the hidden gems and unknown treasures of my home-city! I love to vary my topics, in the past I have e.g. covered the Third Reich & Resistance or the history of Oktoberfest! I have read tons of books about Munich. As I have visited more than 70 countries, I know exactly what travelers need to enjoy sight-seeing instead of falling asleep on the road. ;-) In my job I have got access to all the existing relevant literature.
We will be walking between the different sights in the city center. I deliberately do not disclose in this text the places we will visit in order not to spoil the thrill and surprise. ;-)
