BASIC BARISTA WORKSHOP
This is a one-day, hands-on barista skills workshop. Participants learn how to work behind espresso machine and grinder to make delicious tasting espresso and espresso-based beverages.

In this one-day learning, participants be entirely hands-on to learn and acquire the following skillsets:
- Discerning good vs bad espressos
- Understanding the definition and concept of espresso
- Dialing in grinder
- Working comfortably and professionally behind a home or commercial espresso machine
- Calibrating different coffees
- Milk frothing
- Basic latte art
- Assembling espresso-based beverages

The fees are inclusive all of equipment, accessories, tools, a light lunch, supplies & study notes for participants.

Upon completing this one-day barista workshop, participants will have a solid idea about what it takes to work behind and espresso bar. Participants will also be equipped with up-to-date knowledge about the specialty coffee industry at the basic level.

I'm a professional coffee education specialist based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I'm an authorized trainer under Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), which is the trade organization that governs the specialty coffee industry. In addition, I'm also a world certified judge for barista, latte art and coffee in good spirits championship. I have conducted barista trainings, master classes, coffee workshops, and competitions judging in more than 20 countries.
