Join me on a fun walking tour of downtown Victoria where we will taste traditional Canadian dishes while learning all about the history of Victoria and what makes Canadian cuisine so unique. We start the tour at Finest at Sea where we will sample 3 fresh seafood dishes including candied salmon, smoked trout, and a seafood salad. We also get a behind the scenes look at how they process their seafood. We then head to quirky Fisherman's Wharf where we will have an iconic Canadian dish...poutine. We explore this fun harbour and hopefully see some local seals! Next, we head to The Blue Crab, one of the best seafood restaurants in the city for some mind-blowing crab cakes and Canada's number one cocktail, the Caesar. After sampling some authentic maple syrup, we then stop for a traditional Nanaimo bar. After strolling along the stunning Parliament buildings, we take a break on the front of the lawn of the Empress Hotel to do a honey tasting from honey made from the bee hives located right on the lawn! After that we try some balsamic vinegars infused with Canadian ingredients, 2 local BC wines, and we end the tour with a famous Canadian dessert called a beavertail.

Hi! We are a group of local foodies that love showing off beautiful Victoria and exploring our local culinary scene. We have been running food tours for the past 5 years and we know all the best places to get a great meal. Bonnie owns a food tour company and worked as a tour guide for over 15 years! Brenda has been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years including working as a hotel concierge in Victoria for 3 years. Marylou is born and raised Victoria local with many years in the design world with a passion for local food. Jason is an actor and has been leading haunted tours in Victoria for over 10 years and Virginie is our French speaking foodie that works as a local journalist contributing foodie content to the local French radio and print publications. We are excited to meet you to show off our beautiful city.

On this tour we visit 7 culinary stops including a behind-the-scenes look at the processing plant at Finest at Sea, Victoria's premier seafood shop. We also get a waterfront tour of the Inner Harbour where we will stop at some of the best places including Smoke & Anchor, the Blue Crab. Artisan Wine Shop, Beavertails and more. Tour also includes a fun maple syrup tasting and a honey tasting on the lawn of the Empress.
