A certified Flight instructor will meet you inside the yoga studio and will help get you oriented to the hammock and practice space. During class, we will be using the hammock as support while performing simple (but fun!) inversions and deep stretching. A floating savasana tops it all off, creating the ultimate zen experience. ZEN: Designed to lower stress and decompress. Instructors will offer up anything from restorative movement, myofascial release, guided meditation or floating adjustments. Beginner friendly. FLOW: A dynamic flow that moves in + around the hammock linking breath to movement. Expect to feel challenged, lengthened and refreshed. Intermediate (aerial yoga experience or a regular yoga practice recommended). FLEXIBILITY: Our FLOW class with a special emphasis on opening up tight spots in the body
After practicing yoga daily for several years, I fell in love with aerial yoga after I tried it here in beautiful Seattle, WA. I experienced incredible openings in my muscles and joints from hanging and stretching in the hammock and it has added a new depth, joy and challenge to my yoga practice. That's when I knew - I want to grow this unique experience in the Seattle community! The class takes place at our studio in the Central District neighborhood of Seattle, WA (A short 5-10 min drive from most major hotels in the downtown area). Important note! We have a second studio in Ballard, so please make sure you are booking for the correct spot. :-) **heads up, Seattle traffic can be brutal on the daily so make sure plan ahead!

Please arrive 5-10 minutes early. What to wear: flexible fabric that is easy to move in. The class is taken barefoot. No mat needed. Cancellations must be at least 12hrs before start time.
