There are many reasons why people love this country. Beautiful scenery, fantastic food, over 2000 years of history, glorious weather, friendly people. The area we paddle has all of this and more.
The first thing we do is sort out what’s needed for the trip, then fit the boat to you. This is followed by a quick brief on what to do, then it’s onto the water.
On our first paddling day our destination is one of the most beautiful little harbours in the world, Portofino. We paddle right up to the quayside, then walk the few steps to the cafes and restaurants nestling next to the sea.
Throughout the day, we'd be very happy to help brush up any Italian language skills you might want to practise.
On the evening, we'll let you know where we've eaten before and enjoyed. As it's a place where Italians themselves come on holiday, there are lots of very good eating places.
Accommodation will be in a local B&B or hotel.
Next morning we set off from the other side of the peninsular. Again the scenery is stunning. Today we paddle to a lovely little bay with a 13th century abbey at its heart. We'd love to hear how you got on with your Italian skills the night before.
