We will first meet at the trailhead. The hike is moderately difficult for someone familiar with hiking but can be a hard hike for someone new to hiking. We'll begin the hike I'll take pictures of you with my professional DSLR camera (Nikon D850). I'll take general pictures of you hiking in the rainforest and along the river. When we get to the falls I'll take various pictures of you posing near or under the waterfall. I'll take pictures zoomed out to show you near the falls and zoomed in to get a portrait of you next to the falls. We'll finish the hike and head back towards the parking area. I'll then go home and edit the images to bring out the colors and enhance the lighting. I'll then send you the finished edited photographs in 3-5 days.
I've mostly grew up in Hawaii while my Dad was in the Navy stationed at Pearl Harbor. In total I've probably spent about 15 years on the island. I graduated college at Colorado State University with degrees in math and finance. However I did not want to work in the office and I'm trying to find a way to do that ;) I grew up hiking trails and exploring many different parts of Oahu. I bought a nice camera and started landscape photography in about 2012. This led me to explore Oahu even more heavily and I feel like I have an expert knowledge of the island. I recently started selling my landscape photos at farmer's markets and online. This quickly led me to model photography which I am now focusing heavily on. So, I think I'm in a unique position to both show you cool hiking trails and to take good photos of you on these trails ;)

The waterfall is called Lulumahu Falls and is on the island of Oahu. You can drive to the start of the trail and have to park on the side of the road. The hike is approximately 1 hr 30 minutes roundtrip (45 minutes to the waterfall). The trail to the waterfall will take you through the Hawaiian rainforest. There also is a small bamboo forest you will see.

If it rains heavily it can make the hike more difficult and uncomfortable. There is a disease called leptospirosis that exists in the water. It is pretty rare but can cause serious health problems in children and the elderly. I would research more about it if you are concerned.
