Our experience will begin at restaurant Prego, located in Playacar Center. In this culinary experience of author cuisine we will taste four artisanal mezcal varieties, all them awarded by the mezcal industry, each with its own special snack. During this we will learn about each mezcal, how its made, how to drink it and its difference with tequila. We will also talk about the different kinds of agave, the difference between artisanal, ancestral and industrial mezcal. We will finish with a delicious mezcal cream.
Hi! I am the representative of mezcal Augurio here in the mexican Caribbean. I was born and raised in a mexican house in barcelona where mezcal was always present and that is where my passion for it was born. I have with me my colleague Yeckzze Mendoza. He is Mexican and has been certified from CEMMEZ (Maguey and Agave academy center) and CRT ( Counsil Regulator of Tequila). Noticeably he has a passion for this elixir. For us Mezcal is not a trend, It is an ancestral beverage that we have enjoyed for years, tasting and learning from its history, handcraft process and people. We know that life is about collecting beautiful moments, that is why we are dedicated to creating an experience that will pamper your senses and your thirst for adventure.
