Can you imagine? The big green lung that Barcelona has inside of its central area, the Ciutadella Park, a cool place for cool people now, was a powerful military fortress and a hatred prison just a few centuries ago?! We’ll ride and stop there to take some fresh air and maybe some pictures. We’ll have multiple stops on our bike route to shooting some good photos as I’m going to point you out so many of the iconic features of the city. Some of them are hidden so you clearly need some help from a local to find them, others are just so evident that you could easily miss them unless you have a local friend next to you. I bet you appreciate art at all scales, even if it’s big like the notorious urban sculptures “Barcelona’s Head” and the “Fish” or just small crafted artifacts and artists workshops like we are going see in El Born. Prepared to go to the beach? We’ll ride along the Barceloneta, now the most popular beach in Barcelona and will be amazed to hear how it became so famous from being just a fishermen poor piece of land. Be ready for a spectacular foodie show at the end of your tour! You will not only get surprised by a genuine tasty paella, will also be totally involved in its cooking process and watch all the preps doing as you are getting an open view to a professional kitchen and I will explain all about the technique, recipe, and its traditional roots.
Hi guys, we're Gio and Andre, so happy to be your best bike ride companions and to carefully guide you for a few hours in Barcelona… We have traveled and lived in many European cultures so, even if we're neither Spanish nor Catalans, we have easily adapted to the local culture. We are native storytellers so get ready to hear us talking so much about the cultural treasures that Barcelona so generously offers. We’ll follow our route on comfortable city Air Bikes and ride across 3 central districts just to admire the emblematic architecture, to enjoy being in places where only the kings stepped hundreds of years ago, and to reveal layers of history by watching them exposed right in front of our eyes.
