【Host: Orner Chef of the "RAKAN" 】OKAN
I am a female chef, OKAN. I will host you with warm hospitality.
I lived in Mexico for 4.5 years with my late husband who was a ceramic artist. We came back to Japan in 1992 and built the pottery in Izu. We also started a restaurant that hosts just one group a day, with the pottery arts that my husband created. After my husband passed away, in 2008, I re-started the restaurant Rakan. My inspirations for cooking is my mother, my grandmother, and the sceneries
【Host: Walk Guide】Yuka – Slow Food Mt. Fuji Coordinator
I work as a PR or coordinator in the entertainment industry in Japan & abroad. I also organize food events, work as a tour guide etc. regularly. I want to promote the food and culture of where I grew up – around Mt.Fuji.
