Meeting point is at Brsalje (outside Pile gate) in front of the fountain made by Croatian sculptor Ivan Rendić. After a short introduction, we walk into the historical center of Dubrovnik and get acquainted with its history and architecture through the main sites (Onofrio's Fountain, Franciscan monastery, Rector's Palace, Cathedral, Sponza Palace, the church of Saint Blaise, Orlando's column, etc.) and hidden gems (Ospedale della misericordia, old graffiti etc.). The main sites are set in often noisy surroundings, but once we turn to hidden gems we're in narrow streets and away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. Our sightseeing will involve walking (more of a stroll than anything else) with a moderate amount of steps and it will end on the main square (Luža).
I have a master's degree in the Restoration of Historical textiles and a bachelor's degree in History of Adriatic and Mediterranean. I am especially interested in Cultural History which offers insight into the lives of ordinary people whose stories open windows to extraordinary events and in material remnants of the past which speak volumes of their owner's histories but in their fragility are often underappreciated. Both of these passions came together in my guiding activities which I have been doing for the past 12 years.

The tour covers all the major sights of Dubrovnik's Old City such as Stradun, Onofrio's Fountain, the church of St Blaise, Rector's Palace, Sponza Palace and many more. Special attention is paid, however, to hidden gems that are tucked away in narrow streets. Once away from the maddening crowds learn about the Mediterranean type of marriage, abandoned children, prostitution in middle ages, the oldest graffiti in Dubrovnik and much more.
