The Museum of the Revolution is a building considerate a jewel of the Cuban eclectic architecture. The former “Presidential Palace” hosts since 1974 the exhibition of the Museum of the Revolution. We are going to visit the interiors and surroundings one of the most iconic buildings of Old Havana. The former seat of the Cuban presidents from 1920 until the early years of the Revolution, now welcomes visitors to learn and experience through personal objects, photographs, weapons and clothes, among other artifacts, the history and struggle of the Cuban people to have a sovereign nation. At the end of the activity we will take a coffee together to debate about the experience.
Our team of young experienced and knowledgeable hosts, Jeans, Yeniel, Diana & Yasser, will provide you with an overview of our history. We have been hosting experiences on Airbnb for 1 year and love welcoming travelers in our city. This is a unique experience because you will hear from native Cubans the tale of our struggle for freedom. In addition, this guided experience give you the opportunity to interact, ask questions and receive a more personal feedback.
At the end of the visit to the museum we will have a soda.

The main temporary and permanent exhibitions walk us though the history of Cuba and its main leaders, Fidel Castro, Ernesto “Che” Guevara and Camilo Cienfuegos. Besides, in the back of the building, we will visit the Memorial Granma, opened in 1976. In it we will see interesting pieces of historical value. For instance, Yacht Granma, a boat lead by Fidel Castro that sailed with 82 men from Mexico to Cuba to figth for the island´s independence.
